Zack Linton

Zack Linton is an independent artist blending the fire of blues/rock with the soul and sophistication of neo-soul. Born on the edge of Doncaster and now based in Bath, his transcontinental journey from Northern England to the coastal wilds of Western Australia shaped a sound that feels both rooted and restless. Early influences like Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan lit the spark, but it was discovering John Mayer’s melodic precision and emotional depth that helped shape Zack’s voice as a guitarist and songwriter.

Equally inspired by the genre-blurring innovation of the Soulquarians—D’Angelo, Questlove, and J Dilla—Zack found himself drawn to grooves that hit deep, harmonies that stretch wide, and lyrics that speak plainly but cut sharp. His music lives in that intersection: expressive solos, rich textures, and songs that balance vulnerability with swagger.

Zack’s journey has earned him national recognition, winning the Australian Blues Challenge and representing Australia at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, as well as taking the top prize in the American Express Music Backers program. On stage, he delivers all of this with power and poise, guitar in hand and heart on sleeve.

Now, with a sound that bridges continents and connects eras, Zack is carving his own space in modern music. Honest, distinctive, and driven by feel above all else this is music that moves.
